Out with the Old, in with the New

New facial hair that is. We went out for New Year's Eve to a restaurant with a mustache vending machine.

Then it was off to the movies.

Faith was not the best spectator.
Then it was party time.
Our new favorite game, Telestrations.
The countdown begins.

Happy New Year!!

It's even better when it ends with a sleepover with cousins.

Fat Catz

This is the place more than any other where my kids want to go when we get to Utah. It's all about tokens, tickets and trashy treasures.
Spencer hit the jackpot.

An example of their trashy treasures. I don't know how many whoopie cushions one boy needs.

We are Family

More visits with family this holiday season.
We got to see great-Grandma and Grandpa Stephens.
And we got to see Kent and Sheli's new baby. Faith loved Justus' slide.

While in Idaho...

We pass this sign on the way out of Doug's hometown. We just wanted to take a picture of it this time.
Our last breakfast in Idaho.
Pictures with Grandma and Grandpa.
Faith hung out in this cupboard reorganizing it.
Faith loved eating at the kid table with the bigger kids.
Spencer and Cole enjoying Halle's birthday cake. Four people celebrated birthdays within a week.
Back to the cupboard.
Faith is a tap dancer in training thanks to cousin Halle.
James is in touch with his feminine side and has no problem playing with all the girl cousins.
Faith and Doug with Uncle Howard, Great-Grandma Field and Aunt Julie.
It's great to be with so much family!

Christmas with the Field Clan

This year we went to Idaho to spend Christmas with Doug's family. Grandma Field's birthday is on Christmas Eve, so we had a birthday to celebrate as well.
Christmas Eve we played a game and read parts from a Christmas play for kids.

Cousins.
Christmas morning before the kids started in on their presents.
The boys had a Lego Christmas. Thanks, Mammy, for the new PJs.

The boys with their loot. I don't think they were this good this year.

Faith loves anything soft and fuzzy. She got a new baby and teddy bear.
More presents later. We were spoiled.

Happy Birthday, Spencer!

Spencer chose Arctic Circle for his birthday luncheon.
He really wanted to go sledding too, but we talked them into a snow sculpture contest. Don't ask what they made.

For his party he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Any Star Wars fan would know what his cake is, but I'll tell you what it is anyway. It's the Death Star, not a turtle.
I think all the kids had a blast.

James is all about the tickets.

Opening presents.

Blowing out the candles.
His party guests.

Happy Birthday, Spencer! We sure love you!
