We spent Thanksgiving with friends from our ward at the Sorensens' home. We are so thankful for all of our many blessings that the Lord continually pours out upon our family.
Of course we had to do some Black Friday shopping. I went to Target with the ladies, and no Black Friday is complete without a trip to the Mosby Center and the Leesburg Outlet Mall. Doug did some Black Friday shopping as well, and the kids sat on these boxes all day.
We sure love our baby Hope. The problem is she won't be a baby forever.
She is walking. She loves anything Faith has. She is obsessed with clothes; she'll grab any item of clothing and hug it like a blanket. She goes crazy when she sees stuffed animals or real animals. She loves candy and can hear a candy wrapper being opened a mile away. She is growing too quickly.
Spencer's class invited parents to come and watch their Oreo stacking activity today.
The girls ended up eating their project.
Spencer is dancing with his class--hard to tell, but yes, he is dancing.
Whoever invented red-filled Oreos couldn't possibly have a one-year-old.
Their entourage. Whenever I take the girls to school, a crowd of kids gathers around. They ooh and aaaah over how cute the girls are. Until Faith kicks them.
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley
