I first visited Washington, DC 23 years ago on a high school trip when I was a junior in high school. I was on the first tour of DC my high school did. A lot has happened in 23 years, but when Tiffany and I met up with our high school on the same trip today, it felt like nothing had changed. OK so we look older and have all of these kids now, but sometimes I feel like it was yesterday that I was in high school.
Tiffany and me with our high school AP History teacher Mr. Stephens. He has almost done this trip 50 times. I can't imagine dragging high schoolers through DC 50 times!
My friend Shauna is now a chaperone on the trip with her daughter who is in high school. Here we are with our AP English teacher Ms. Flamm. I tell you, I don't remember getting this old.
Tiffany, me and Miss Flamm. Love her!
Ella, Hope and Faith were great sports. We rewarded them with milk shakes at the Union Station before we drove home.
