Great Falls Friday

We had a great day at Great Falls National Park with friends today. We started with lunch.

Then a little rock climbing.

The kids.
Walking to the Falls.

Great Falls.

The moms.
A little R&R in the shade with a book.

A game of football.
The visitors' center.

What a fun adventure! Days like this make me want summer to last forever. OK, so maybe I'm still counting down the days until school starts.

Legomania

Today I took a few Brown kids with us to the National Building Museum in DC.
It is awesome inside!!
We started at the building area for kids.

The progression of their lego tower.

The real reason we came was for this exhibit.
An architect created several buildings out of Legos for us to look at.

As part of the exhibit, we got to build with lots and lots of Legos.

OK, so it's not Legoland, but it made for a great field trip.

We're Back

We are back from Utah and I must say, we did not miss the humidity. I took the kids to an awesome park yesterday with tons of playground equipment, but the kids were too hot to stay more than twenty minutes.

We'll have to give Clemmy Jontri Park another try when it is cooler!

Baltimore's Children's Museum

So today Camp Mom set out for Baltimore's Port Discovery, the Children's museum. The kids started with a soccer match.

This three-story maze of slides and rope ladders was a huge hit.
Spencer at the very top.

We spent the most time in the water area where the kids had a blast making fountains and sprayers out of pipes.

This was so awesome being in a bubble.

Put that girl to work.

This is the cutest diner I've ever seen.

You could climb through a clogged sink drain, but only Spencer ventured into the drain.
