Relief Society Camp

All kids in Australia go off to camp with their school, and I'm so glad the Relief Society gets to go off to stake Relief Society camp too.  Tonight we trekked to Mountain Trails camp about two hours from Canberra for a fun time together.  After dinner it was time to break out the Wackee Six cards. We have really started something here with this game.

Belle, Chenoa, Anne, Ivey, Sarah, Shanae, Nicole, me and Brittney
Saturday morning we had three different workshops.  This one on individual worth was my favorite. We wrote down on a ceramic tile all the things the negative voice in our head tells us about ourselves.  Then we got a hammer and smashed it to pieces.  The sister who taught this class asked for a volunteer.  No one was raising their hand so I did.  I was supposed to stand up with one arm out and she pushed on my arm while I said, "I am strong and scented."  OK so she really said "centered" but if you've heard an Aussie say "centered" it sounds a lot like "scented."  I guess centered makes more sense :)  Everyone laughed for awhile about that one.
The Ginninderra Gals: Belle, Brittney, Shanae, Nicole, Keisha, Tara, Bindi, Ann, Grace, Melanie, Anne, Gina, me and Chenoa.  We had such a great time.
 It's a beautiful camp.

I stayed in the Bertha cabin.
We didn't get much sleep, but we sure had fun!
