Last Day

 Today was our last day of summer vacation before school starts on Monday.  

 We went to the pool at the Larsens' hotel for the afternoon.

It was our last day with Bren and baby Cora before they move to the States.  We are going to miss them heaps.  My girls sure love baby Cora.

Big Wheels at the Skate Park

 I asked the boys how they wanted to spend their last couple days of summer vacation, and they wanted to go to the skate park.  Great idea for two boys.  Not such a great idea for toddler girls.

 The true skater dudes were probably so annoyed that a big wheel and training wheels had showed up at their skate park. 

They didn't last long out there and I was able to bribe them to watch instead :)

Our Days

 Our days usually involve dressing up, microphones and singing really LOUD.

We still love our weekly field trip to Costco.  How much do you love Nutella?  This could last awhile.

National Museum of Australia

 Today we went to the wonderfully air conditioned museum and hung out with our friends the Viles and Larsens.

 They had a new exhibit on big vehicles and we loved this one.  It is a huge wagon a man made to live in during the depression.  He drove around Australia as the Saw Doctor sharpening tools and anything else he would sharpen.

 Their favorite is still Kspace where they design 3-D space ships and watch them in a movie.

Summer Days

 January is the hottest month in Canberra, and it is getting hot!  We are still not sure what the temperature is since we don't know how to convert to Fahrenheit from Celsius, but all we know is it is HOT!  We went to the Dickson Aquatic Center today to beat the heat.
