Utah Days

It's funny how small the world is.  Tera and I lived in Long Beach together.  I moved to Virginia and Tera moved to Utah.  Kara moved to Virginia into our ward and then moved back to Utah---in the same ward as Tera. I love it when my friends are friends!  I love these ladies and I treasure this photo with them and the time I got to see Tera before her chemo treatments for cancer.
Courtney came with me to see Tera and Kara at Kara's house today because Tera, Courtney and I are all Long Beachers. It was a great visit!
After spending the afternoon with friends, I got to watch the kids on the slip n' slide at the Riches'. Our time in Utah has slid to and end, and we will have to leave for Virginia tomorrow.

We will miss you, Utah!

Sushi and Roy Days

Tona's is one of the best restaurants in Ogden and Mammy took us to try it tonight.

They loved it!  We had to sit outside with the flies because they were so busy, so maybe next time we can eat in one of the really cool rooms inside.
Then we met up with the Riches at Roy Days.

I never want summer to end!

Alpine Slide

We spent a few hours in Park City this afternoon, and I took James, Faith and Hope down the Alpine Slide.  We had recently gone down something similar in Australia, but not nearly as big as this slide.

James was a good sport and took Hope down with him since she wasn't tall enough.  Maybe next summer.

Top of the World

Our friend Jeff loves to go paragliding, and lucky for us he loves to take people with him.  Since I couldn't convince anyone from my family to go with me, I was so happy Cortney said she would go.
We met Jeff and Mary at the Point of the Mountain Flight Park in Draper tonight.

7,000 feet up!

Now that was awesome!!

Pool Days

While Spencer and Tyler are at EFY this week, we are following the Chinese foreign-exchange students around town.  Today Gong and his group got a discount to the Davis Aquatic Center, so of course we were right there to get our discount too.
