Five

Faith is five today!  I can't believe it. She makes our family better and we're blessed to have her.  As soon as she woke up we went to play at the awesome playground at the Arboretum with the Mamouneys.

She chose Mackers (McDonald's) for her birthday lunch.  What a surprise.
We had our next-door neighbors the Powers and our friends the Leefes over for her birthday dinner.

 Spencer is the designated lighter.
I guess she didn't like our singing.

Faith got lots of fun presents.  She always wanted an easel.  Thank you, Mammy!
She got a bigger bike.  Now we just have to get those training wheels off.
Happy Birthday, Faith!  We love you heaps!

International Fleet Review Part 2

I'm not sure why these giant yellow snails were in downtown Sydney, but the kids loved them.

We went to Darling Harbor for the day to check out the warships and tall ships that are parked in Cockle Bay for the Fleet Review.

It was so hot we spent a lot of time at the playground getting wet.

 The tall ships.

The ship closest to the left at the end of the row is the US warship here for the fleet review.

Loved our day in Sydney.  I thought of my Grandpa Cowles all day.  He's the greatest navy man I know, and he would have loved it.
