We had heard from many Americans that we had to go to Birdland so here we are. It is in Batemans Bay on the ocean about two hours from Canberra so we stayed in a hotel last night so we could get to Birdland first thing in the morning.
We fed a deer.
And we fed lots of kangaroos.
We held snakes.
And patted some wombats.
Merry, merry king of the bush is he.
The girls wanted to pat the koala for five dollars extra.
Eating their Calipo pops and trying to get the bird to talk to them.
Birdland is a great little place and we're glad we finally went.
