Christmas Morning

 This was our Christmas morning.  Santa left the big stuff at our house, unless you want to count the pink unicorn, then I guess he left some big stuff at Mammy's :). So the boys woke up to PS4 games, but no PS4 because that was left in Virginia.  There were plenty of presents to open nonetheless.

The best gift is being home on Christmas. What a blessing. Merry Christmas!!

Twas the Night Before Christmas

 Christmas Eve is one of my most favorite nights of the year.  I love everything about it!  We started this year with dinner at the Cowles' church in Pleasant View.  We ate and played games.  It's not Christmas Eve without the M&M's game.

 From the church, we went to Mammy's for more games.  We started with making our own ugly Christmas sweaters.  Mammy had more planned but we never made it past the sweater-making.

 Faith said, "These sweaters are supposed to be ugly, but I couldn't do ugly if I tried."

 We exchanged our ornaments next.  Spencer loved his toilet ornament.

Definitely one of the best nights of the year!

What it's all About

 Doug and I got to do a session at the newly renovated Ogden Temple while we were in Utah.  It is so beautiful and a great reminder of what this season is all about.

 We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Cowles' graves.

 And our Katie.  It was the first time Hope had ever remembered going to visit Katie.  How blessed we are to know exactly what this season is all about.
