Happy Birthday, Faith!

To celebrate Faith's first day as a seven-year-old, we brought lunch to her from McDonald's.
I ran Hope over for her preschool open house to meet her teachers after lunch. Hope starts preschool next week and she is so excited.
After school we spent the afternoon at our favorite fall festival, Cox Farms.

The only reason the boys came with us is because they got out of school early to come with us.  They spent a lot of time in the penny search.

After Cox Farms we went to dinner at Wendy's and then the girls opened presents.

They got a lot of American Girl doll stuff.

Happy Birthday, Faith!  Faith makes our lives better in every way.  She has so much spunk and energy.  We are blessed to have her in our family.

Go 89!

Another Saturday cheering for number 89.  James is an awesome tackler and plays defense.

I can't say the girls love going to the games, but when they have the job of being the bell ringer they seem to be happier (that, and going to the concessions stand).

A Night in the '50s

For the past few months, we have been getting together with friends as part of a dinner group.  Tonight Stacy had a 1950's themed dinner and we dressed the part.  The food was delicious, and you can't beat the company. Sure love these ladies: Shellie, Tiffany, me, Stacy and Debbie.

Day of Service

Today our ward held a day of service to help give teddy bears and blankets to our new hospital.

What cute kids who came to help!

Scout Life

Tonight we had a great Court of Honor at the Sorensens' to reward the boys for their hard work at scout camp. Spencer was the MC.

James and Spencer advanced ranks and earned a ton of merit badges.  Way to go boys!

A New Kind of Footy

James has wanted to play football forever.  After playing rugby, how could we say no? I think football is a lot more time and harder than James thought, but we are off and rolling and finally playing games. This will be our life every Saturday for awhile.

Labor Day

We are trying to get in as many pool days as possible before they close, so we were off to the pool today.

We ate dinner with friends at the ward party and then...

we finished the night at the pool.  Summer don't leave us!  Please!
