While is Salem, MA, we went to see a real witch cast her spell. She had a lot of incense and told us to repeat, "So mote it be" a lot. The kids were really tired after that. Who knows what was in the incense.

Jeff and Doug also have birthdays in October. They needed more than a pink polka-dot cake so we got pumpkin cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory.
We walked around downtown Boston following the Freedom Trail. This is the Massachusetts State House.
In front of the first public school, they have this statue of a donkey with a place to put your feet so you can stand in opposition. Doug had to take a stand.
Over Columbus Day weekend, we put our boxes on hold to drive up to Boston for the weekend. What a beautiful time of year to make this drive.
We were excited we could be with my two brothers and Mom for the weekend. The boys loved playing in the leaves with their cousin Grace at Boston Common.

I'm amazed every year at how time flies. Faith turned one and I keep asking myself, "How is this possible?" She celebrated her big day with her Birthday lunch eating school lunch with the boys. She looks really fat in this picture.
She was the hit of the cafeteria! The boys are wearing pajamas for pajama day in case you were wondering.
She is a sneaky one this little gal. She reminds me of Spencer. She pushed the step stool over to get at her cupcakes.
She celebrated at Chuck E. Cheese. I guess when you let the boys plan her birthday party, where else did we expect they'd pick?
