Raptor Night

We went to the last few innings of the Raptor's game tonight so we could watch the fireworks.

I wouldn't buy Faith a slushie so she just finished off the one left in the seat she found.  We might be at the doctor tomorrow.

Day at the Bay

We spent the afternoon at Willard Bay on Grandpa's boat.  The kids loved it.

Faith jumped in thinking she could stand up in the lake.  She was pretty freaked out by how deep the water was.

They LOVED this thing.  Faith was a little dare devil and loved it as well.

One Fine Day

Cortney and Jeff were sealed in the Newport Beach Temple today.  What a cute couple!

She looked so beautiful.
Doug and I wouldn't have missed this for anything.
In between the ceremony and reception we hung out with Kobe Bryant at Islands Restaurant.
Sure love these ladies:  Anne, me, Tina and Tiffany
Bishop Holloway performed the ring ceremony at the reception.
 Mr. and Mrs. Given

We are so extremely proud of our Cortney.  How we love her and wish her the best with her new husband.

Has it Really Been 16 years?

The people in this picture had no idea of the adventures, heartache and joy that would come to them over the next sixteen years.  I'd do it all over again because I have the right person by my side.

PayDay

I had the wonderful opportunity of going through the temple with Cortney as she took out her endowments in the Newport Beach Temple today.  A member of the temple presidency spoke to Jeff and Cortney before the session and told them today was their payday--Jeff's for serving a mission and Cortney's for living a life worthy of entering the temple.  Having Cortney live with us for a year and a half has blessed my life in so many ways, and this was payday for me as well.

I spend my days at the pool in the kiddie pool, but these kiddies are sure cute.

Blocks and Ballgame

My kids had never heard of ice blocking.  I feel it is my duty as a mother to introduce them to this summer sport, even if it is illegal these days.
Hope was pretty good at ice blocking without the ice.

 My mom, sister and me.

After the warning that we could be fined, we left our ice blocks for a game of kick ball.

I love summer!
