Happy Halloween!

We started our day watching James' kindergarten class parade in their costumes. It was sooooo hot that James kept taking off parts of his costume. He decided to be a Jedi like last year.
James' teachers were scary monsters.
Only the kindergarteners are allowed to wear costumes, so the rest of the school watches the parade. We met up with Spencer to watch the parade.
After school we were off to Second Street to go trick-or-treating at the businesses.
My favorite is the chocolate store that gives out chocolate covered marshmallows.

We ran into this cute couple from our ward---Luigi and Princess Daisy. Elaine is amazing for making these costumes.
This is how Faith looked all day trick-or-treating.
Spencer resurrected his Jango Fett costume from last year as well. Glad I bought them new costumes this year.
Who can resist this stop? Domenico's was giving out pieces of pizza.
Cute kids at the fire station.
Loved these ladies handing out full size candy bars.
The best part is watching the people who are handing out the candy. Darth Vader was handing out candy here.....
and the skimpy costumes from women wearing hardly anything seemed to be the big thing.
Why does a nurse have to wear such a short skirt? Good thing the kids are clueless.
OK, one of my favorite stops. This older couple sits outside their sex novelty shop every year handing out candy. I laugh every time.
Happy Halloween!

Gotta love trick-or-treating in Long Beach.

Didn't you know that's what nurses really wear? That older couple story was so funny. Good thing it's all over the kids' heads--then you can laugh at it, and they can have a good time, too.
