Cox Farms

We finally had beautiful weather Monday night without any rain, so I took the kids to Cox Farms. The last time we were here, James was three-months-old and Spencer was two.

It's one of the funniest hayrides I've ever been on. You look at an eclectic collection of characters from SpongeBob to aliens to the Travelocity Gnomes.

I could almost pretend I was at Disneyland on the Jungle Cruise,
passing by Mickey's sorcerer hat,
and then meeting Winnie the Pooh. OK, so not even close, but we'll take what we can get. I told the boys this place is the Disneyland of pumpkin patches.

The corn maze.

Cox Farms is really about the slides!

We loved this Dino slide so much I made Faith go with me twice even though it scared her to death. Photo courtesy of James.

Another one of James' photos.

We ended our fun with our free (depends on how you look at that) pumpkin. They are striking the Statue of Liberty pose for some reason. It's good to be back, Cox Farms!

Happy Fall Y'all

We have been known to complain about our 20-25 minute drive to church. Our first Sunday here, Spencer said, "Why do we go to church clear over here." Sunday I couldn't complain and wanted to keep driving so I could see more of the beautiful colors dabbling our road to church.
We had to take pictures before all our beautiful scenery is gone.

Our Park

When we drove up to our new house, we made sure to circle this park a couple times so the boys could see that they had a park across the street from them. We love it.
Faith loves to swing!

Yes, James was with us at the park this day. He is into climbing and jumping more than swinging and sliding.

Look Who's Standing

She doesn't walk anywhere, but she is sure a great stander.
She loves to clap for herself when she stands up, and of course has to see if anyone is watching her.

Halloween Round One

Our first Halloween party of the season was tonight with our ward. The boys were both the Incredible Hulk. They have fans in their suits to make it look like they are full of muscles. I thought it would be a great idea to paint their faces green and spray their hair black until after the party when we had to clean them up.
Faith went as our little Aggie cheerleader.
Doug was excited he could wear his psycho ward doctor's coat.
Faith was a busy girl helping to pass out the candy.
And when she wasn't passing out the candy, she was passing out the hugs. This poor little pumpkin could not shake her.

We had our trunk ready to go, but the rain kept us all inside.
Maybe next year.
