Right in the middle of Darling Harbor is a small zoo featuring only Australian animals.
Up close and personal with these devils from Tasmania. They were fighting and making such a terrible noise that I thought it was a recording playing in the background.
That's one big wombat. No wonder they are always warning us not to hit them with our car.
This bird is a cassowary.
You can kind of see the echidna in these pictures. He looks like a porcupine.
Merry, merry king of the bush is he.

More of the crocodile. We were impressed with the zoo even if it is small.
