Blue and Gold Banquet

Tonight was our ward's Blue and Gold Banquet with a spy theme.
James earned his Wolf.

We had to make a piece of spy equipment with a bunch of stuff.

The spy equipment we made was a jet pack.

Faith and her friend McCall.
The boys had to decode a message to figure out where dessert was.
And then crawl through the lasers to get to dessert.
This is our contribution to a spy-themed dessert.

Reunion

I wish I could have been with these ladies longer, but I'm so grateful our plane left late enough after our cruise so we could spend some time with our Long Beach family. I sure love these guys.

Lovin' Every Minute of It

So I think we all agree, this has been one of the best vacations we have ever done. We loved the cruise ship...

We loved our room...
We loved our servers. We took a picture with Yusif and Galina the last night at dinner.
And most importantly we loved spending time with these people. We are truly blessed.
We really tried to be the last ones off the boat, but 15 people were behind us.
The ship is called the Disney Wonder. After our vacation, we were all left to wonder how seven days could go by so quickly and when we will be able to come again.

Character Breakfast

Saturday morning was our breakfast with the characters. Can't you tell James is so excited?

Hope is even more excited.

Our servers made it so much fun by making hats for all of us out of napkins.

It Doesn't Get any Better Than This

For a three-year-old girl, it was like a dream to spend a week with her favorite princesses on "the princess cruise ship."

Faith's favorite princess is Ariel.
We ran into Ariel in the hall one day and she took Faith by the hand to talk to her off in the corner.

When we told Ariel that her name is Faith, but Faith tells people her name is Ariel, Ariel said, "That's funny, because when I was a little girl like you, I told people my name was Faith." How cute is that?

I'm sure Faith's dirty pants make quiet the impression on Ariel, as did Hope's stinky diaper. Faith had been playing in the mud in Puerto Vallarta all day.
On Saturday, the girls got to meet all five princesses.

Ariel remembered Faith's name.

We loved watching Faith's face during the wonderful stage shows each night when the princesses performed. The shows were amazing.
