Today we headed to the Melbourne Museum.
The Melbourne Museum is on the same block as the Royal Exhibition Hall and a great park.
The first thing we did in the museum was go to a performance of "Wa and the Seven Sisters." It was about the aboriginal tribe, the Coorie, and how they got fire. It was very cute and all the kids could have parts in the audience with instruments or snakes or lights. The boys were really excited about this.
The museum was actually pretty awesome. Here is the real Phar Lap.
An old roller coaster.
A mummy.
Kind of hard to jump rope in flip flops. (Aussies never say flip flops; they still call them thongs).
So glad we decided to check this place out.
