Tidbinbilla

On the way to Tidbinbilla, you can stop at the deep space center that is really close to Tidbinbilla.  These huge antennas transmitted the images of the first Americans walking on the moon.

Faith and Hope at the Tidbinbilla visitor's center.
Tidbinbilla is a nature reserve.  I don't know why it has taken us so long to come here.  We loved it.  There are several nature trails you walk to find different wild life.

We took the trail to find the platypus, but we didn't see any today.

We found a very friendly (creepy) emu.

Tidbinbilla has the best playground.  My camera's battery died as soon as we got to the playground.  The girls loved it so much we had to listen to them cry for fifteen minutes after we left.
The boys loved the playground so much because they finally found a kangaroo who was willing to let them pet him.  They LOVED it.  Here are the pictures they took on Spencer's ipod.

We will be back!
