Sixteen years ago Ryan and Jennifer lived in our ward in Provo. Ryan was our home teacher while Doug was interviewing for his current job that would take us to Washington, DC. One day Ryan said, "My parents just moved to Virginia. They live in a really small town; I think it's called South Riding." Doug met Ryan's parents on an interview trip, and the rest is history. Today we met up with Ryan and Jennifer again in church while they were visiting his parents. We don't believe in coincidences. We know Ryan was our home teacher so could move to South Riding, and we have been grateful ever since.
