Proboscis Monkeys

On Tuesday, November 13th, Ben and Margaret and I went with Elder and Sister Lee, the senior missionaries in Sandakan, to see the Proboscis monkeys at the Labuk Bay Sanctuary.
We had to take off our shoes.  I'm still trying to figure out why since we just walked out on a viewing platform with monkey poop on the ground.
The proboscis monkey, native only to Borneo.
It isn't a zoo at all, just a sanctuary where the monkeys live.  People set food out for them twice a day so people can come and watch them while they eat.

This baby monkey is so cute. He will turn grey when he gets older.

 A horn bill.
 There were monkeys everywhere!
