Canberra has a bad reputation in Australia. There is no beach, which is very unAustralian since most people live near the ocean in this country. The buildings are kind of boring. It's the coldest city in the country. The night life is extremely boring. And on and on it goes why Aussies don't like Canberra. We get it, but Canberra has been our home for two years, and we are going to miss it. This picture of the kids overlooks Canberra and was taken shortly after we moved here.
Here are a few things about Canberra we love and will really miss: looking at Parliament House everyday on our drive to get the boys from school.

And Floriade in the spring. These are just a few of the things we will miss about Canberra.
