Today is our last full day in Canberra. We went to stake conference this morning and cried a lot saying goodbye to our dear ward family. Every time we move we know we'll be back. This time we don't know if and when we'll be back, and that is what makes this so hard. I have a great sense of joy despite the sorrow knowing that we came and loved the people and experience so much that we truly are heartbroken to leave. After church we drove to the top of Mt. Ainslie for some last photos of Canberra. Mt. Ainslie has a great vantage point to see all of Canberra.
War Memorial, Anzac Parade and old and new Parliament Houses.
Captain Cook Fountain.
Golden Wattle.
Later today we drove our car to the lucky American family who are the new proud owners of our very old yet reliable Toyota Tarago.
And the Lardellis watched our kids and fed us dinner. How we love our Aussie and Kiwi family. Every hard part of this move is worth it because we got to meet all of our dear friends.
We're going to miss this family heaps. Thank you, Canberra! You have been so good to us.
