We spent our day in the Blue Mountains at Scenic World today. They have different ways to see the Blue Mountains: cableway, skyway and railway.
Statues of the three sisters and the man who put a spell on them. The boys did not want their picture taken with all these naked people. Obviously the girls could care less.
We got here early because it is pretty popular and you can wait in long lines. The first ride we did was the railway. This is the world's steepest railway, going downhill at 52 degrees.
The train is totally enclosed, but it still felt like you could fall out. This was the kids' favorite thing even though they did scream going down.
This train was originally used for coal miners to get to the bottom of the mountain. When they started letting people ride it, they made more money giving rides so they stopped mining the coal.
A replica of the original train people got to ride to the bottom.
