After driving through New Zealand for a few days, we traded in our rental car for the Celebrity Solstice. We thought the kids would like being on the ship more than being in a car for the very long drives to see the rest of New Zealand.
The kids were very patient after I dropped everyone off at the cruise terminal to return the rental car. I literally had to run through Auckland to make it back to the ship on time.
And then we finally got to get on the boat.
