Today our ship cruised through some of the most beautiful parts of the earth, Fiordland National Park. If we had only been able to see this part of New Zealand, our trip would have been worth it all. On the bottom west coast of the South Island are several sounds or fiords making up Fiordland National Park. We cruised through three different sounds: Dusky Sound, Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound. Everyone says Milford Sound is the most beautiful of all of them, and I honestly can't remember which sound we were in when a lot of these pictures were taken.
For part of the day the girls and James were in Fun Factory, and we got to see them on their walk for an ice cream break.
James hung out on the sports court a lot today.
Most days the Sounds are covered in fog or it is raining. We had an exceptionally clear and beautiful day as we cruised through the Sounds. Truly the highlight of our trip to New Zealand.
