Today we were at sea all day. These are the days when we notice we are definitely not on the Disney Cruise. Of the 2,850 guests on the Celebrity Solstice, 200 are kids and 100 of those are teenagers. There are definitely more wheelchairs than strollers, and sometimes it feels like a floating rest home. The kids do love going to the Fun Factory regardless of how many kids there are on the ship. We really didn't see James, Faith and Hope much at all on these days. The family activity planned for today was BINGO.
I won BINGO and Spencer went up for me to claim the prize. He was supposed to do a victory dance.
Since Spencer was too cool for the group James hung out with, and he was not yet into the teen crowd, Spencer hung out with us a lot.
Today I took a back stage tour of the kitchen as one of the activities offered.
I also took a tour of the medical unit after Hope cut her eye in the Fun Factory. It was our first formal night at dinner.
And today this amazing gingerbread Christmas village appeared in the main foyer.
Hope got Stella the starfish as a gift when she made her trip down to the medical unit. Faith was so jealous because she wanted to win a Stella at BINGO earlier and didn't. Later in the week Faith got a paper cut and convinced the counselors she needed a Stella too. They gave her one.
